Originally from the lower mainland, Brett is excited to begin a new journey on Vancouver Island. Brett attended the University of British Columbia to complete his dental degree, where he received multiple awards, including the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia Scholarship which is awarded to the student who obtained the top academic record in their class. After working in the lower mainland, he was drawn to Victoria by the adventure and outdoor lifestyle Vancouver Island has to offer.
Patient education is the cornerstone of his practice philosophy. Brett puts great emphasis on taking the time to answer your questions and ensure you feel comfortable and well informed before making any decisions regarding treatment. In order to provide the best treatment possible, Brett stays up to date on the latest research through study clubs and continuing education courses.
Being an active part of the community is important to Brett. He has previously served as a director on youth soccer boards, volunteered with a crisis service center, and while in dental school, provided free emergency dental care to the underserved community.
When not working, Brett can be found on the soccer field, kiteboarding on windy days, trying out new recipes, and spending time with his loving wife Jessica.
